The Connect Worldwide Recruiting Agency (“Connect WRA”) is one of the leading agencies in Germany for the international recruitment of hotel and tourism professionals for cruise lines, river cruise lines and private yachts, as well as selected hotels.

The cooperation with our applicants and customers is very individual.

For our open vacancies we are looking for the most suitable candidates, regardless of race, gender, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, sexual identity or age.

Please do not send any confidential information about your former and/or current employer.

If this is not essential for the proceeding of the employment relationship in any specific case, please do not forward unnecessary information like:

  • Ethnic origin, political beliefs, philosophical or religious beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health or sex life
  • Diseases and pregnancy
  • Information that has nothing to do with the job profile

The purpose of our database is to achieve the best possible way to connect potential employees with potential employers/companies, to have the best option for qualified staff, being searched by the companies.

3. Collection and processing of personal data

Registration

By registering / applying to Connect WRA, you agree that your personal information and other information added, will be stored in our database. In order to fully benefit from our services and for Connect WRA to proceed with your application in the best possible way, we will request at first important information about your Curriculum Vitae “CV” in our online registration form.

We store the following personal data, referring to your job application together with your application documents:

Cover letter, CV, copies of certificates, including full name, address, telephone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, photo, date of birth, gender, marital status, education, citizenship, additional qualifications, hobbies and language skills.

After your data has been entered into our system, you will be contacted by one of our employees (f/m) to coordinate your individual wishes with our vacancies and offers.

In this conversation we ask for more personal information such as:

Further career information, salary and salary expectations, education and training, your job/career expectations

Apart from date of birth, marital status and school education as well as an up-to-date version of your CV, including address and contact details, all other information is voluntary and optional.
Your data will only be sent to Connect WRA via SSL encrypted connections transfer.

Without your permission, none of your personal data will be forwarded to third parties, and your personal information will be kept strictly confidential at all times.

Our database is on company internal and secure servers.

Access is only possible by employees (f/m) of the Connect WRA.

We would also like to save your data for a longer period in order to be able to contact you at later stages to inform you about possible and interesting job offers.

In order to do this, your written consent is required, so that we may save your data until further notice.

Data submitted via our contact form are also stored to process with your request or to be available for follow-up questions. A disclosure of this data will not take place without your consent and permission.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent and strictly follows the rule of data protection laws. A revocation of your given agreement is at any time possible. For the revocation it is sufficient to send us an informal message by e-mail.

Data submitted via the contact form will remain with us until your request to delete them, revoke your consent to storage or you no longer need to retain your data. Mandatory legal regulations – especially period of safekeeping – remain unaffected.

5. Mailings and Information

We will send you info mailings for example with the following topics:

Connect WRA may collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details, including your e-mail address and other information as detailed on your CV or personal details as required for (your professional qualifications, professional interest’s, employment status/company) this may also include – sensitive personal information such as details of criminal convictions

7. What legal basis do we rely on to process your Personal Information?

Connect WRA processes your data with your consent. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. When your consent is withdrawn, we will cease to process data and permanently delete all personal information we hold about you.

Connect WRA also processes your data when it is in our legitimate interests to do this and when these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.

9. How can you manage or delete Personal Information?

The collected personal information from you, will only be stored as long as permitted by law. On request we gladly inform you, which data we have stored in regards of your person. In case that despite our efforts to have your information stored correctly, you notice that it is not, please inform us and we will correct them immediately.

Of course, we will also delete immediately all the data we have stored on your request, when you send us an e-mail to do so. Should a cancellation/deletion not be possible for legal reasons, your documents will be suspended for the time being.

Additionally you have the right to get information in regards to your stored data, including those relating to the source of your data, the recipients or categories of recipients and where the data is transmitted and for which purpose they are stored and the right of correction, if incorrect data is stored.

With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet site, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding YouTube component.
