We are looking for a Sous Chef for a top 5***** American Cruise Line.
Candidate must have 3 years experience in similar position, good references from 4- 5 star hotel or cruise ship, have an excellent knowledge in his field – is able and willing to work hands-on and is also good within the administration side this position brings along.
You must properly prepare all items required for the daily Menus and special events as instructed by Supervisors and to ensure that products are consistently prepared according to the highest possible standards.
To ensure that Galley equipment is maintained properly, that the highest standards of cleanliness are kept and that safe food handling is practiced at all times.
To provide a five-six star service at all times.
This position requires highly developed professional and leadership skills, very good USPH knowledge and the ability to lead and motivate an international team is a must, as well as living up to the company standard and keeping the food costs within the budget.
Candidates should be flexible, stress-resistant, computer literate and well organized. Fluent English is required – any additional language would be a plus.
